New Ruby Kisses Ultra Matted Lip Stick Review

Me Wearing the 7 different Lipstick Colors ...

..... On darker complexion

1. Peach Loo

2. Blackism

3. Extreme Coral

4.Purple Affair

5. Blue Lagoon

6. Dark Plum Scene

7. Fuchsia Fierce

When I walked into my local beauty supply store I was just browsing at the makeup curious to see what they have in store. Suddenly a glow hit my face when I saw these different colors of matted lipstick for the price of two dollars and ninety-nine cents.  Some of them are dupes of the Mac lipsticks that cost sixteen dollars.  I bought all seven of these because if you add them up they will be twenty dollars and ninety-three cents plus tax.  It's a good buy because one Mac lipstick is sixteen dollars and one Kat Von D lipstick is twenty one dollars. Anyways what made me interested in the Ruby Kisses Matted lipstick collection was the rare vibrant colors like purple, blue, green and much more.  So if you would like to purchase it go to your Local Beauty Supply or Ruby Kisses website online.

My Opinion

The casing of this lipstick is very eye catching.  They make it look like its big bucks.  The case feel matted with a heart inscribed on it. It has the color of the lipstick on the edge near the top.  The top is made of plastic. I really do not like the plastic I've experienced it to crack and to fall of the lipstick easily. The top is not well made and can easily fall off and sometimes mess up your lipstick or break it if its not well protected.  The overall quality of the lipstick is nicely pigmented and dry on your lips. Also, the lipstick does not crease on your lips at all.   I recommend that you use an moisturizer on your lip before you apply the lipstick.  Use Moisturizer like lip balms, Vaseline and etc.  This lipstick is even hard to take of and it stains your lips. So if you don't mine the Dryness of the lip, weak top closure and lip stains then this is the best lipstick because you're getting you moneys worth and variety of colors.

A Mini After Christmas Haul

Today I went on an little after Christmas shopping spree today.  I have stretched my money so much with buying name brands products and etc on clearance.  Yes clearance is the best word ever in a shopaholics dictionary. Well not all it just depends on what type of shopaholic you are! Yes I am the Sales, Clearance Shopaholic. My wonderful family and friends call me the money stretcher.  Okay anyways let's get to what I have purchase.  I've went to several stores to and skimmed through what they have and what caught my eye. Whatever I see that catches my eye will be put on hold and go on to the next store.  Yes I sure did put my stuff on hold and probably coming back or not coming back. LMBO!!!  So after I've finish skimming through the stores of my choices I would go back to the stores that have caught my eyes with their magnificent after Christmas clearance sale! Yay Sale!  The first store that I spotted with my little eyes was "The Body Shop".  The Body shop had a very wonderful sale with their products. Everyone knows that this store is very high price and for their after Christmas sale they want that selfish with their products. I've purchased Frosted cranberry body butter and Glazed apple body butter for $5.  So for more information check it out right now before the sale is over!!! Those products I mention are usually $20.

I also went to a store called Ulta looking for my big cousin an Christmas gift.  A Product I never heard of called Malley was regular $39 and I got it for $24.  It is a regular smokey eye kit called Plum Chelsea.  I Also bought her an Ulta Perfect ten eye crayon that was on sale for $7.47. Ulta wasn't very stingy with their after Christmas sale either.  I advise you to go in their before everything is gone.  These people don't play when it comes to their makeup.  I remember on black friday I was trying to get this lorac pallet for $12 and it was gone! I was so furious!!!!

Another store that spotted my little eye was sephora. This is known to be a very pricey store and I would always ask the store rep what they have on sale.  When they said they had lipstick on sale for $5 my jaw opened wide.  I only bought one because I didn't want to go makeup crazy when I know that I have enough. I also told myself their is probably something else in another store that I may want.  So to you shopaholics you may want to take that little advice right there.  This product is called the sephora retractable lip crayon.  The color is glittering Plum.  As you can  tell I have a dark complexion and this is how it looks on my hand.  It's very beautiful! Don't miss this sale!!! Head to Sephora now!!!

The next store I went to is called "Charming Charlies".  This is an color coordinated store with a bunch of purses, jewelries, scarfs and little apparel. One day if your looking for that one bad of jewelry to go to an outfit for an special event I think you should take a look at this store. Its very convenient and it's a little pricey.  I never really shopped at this store until I went all the way in the back where the jewelry was on clearance.  The better clearance sales happen rarely which are the buy one get one free on the clearance.  O how wonderful is thy sale?  O how I go pick up that small basket and pick out jewelry like i'm doing an Easter egg hunt.  For a pricey store they are not stingy with their sale and this is another store I think you should look at.  My earrings were $5.99, $3.99 and $2.99.  Overall I spent about $12.00 because the sale was buy one get one free.  You may see a jewelry missing because I bought a friend one and gave it to her.  I also advise you to take a look at the clearance as you can throughout the year.

I finally got my Urban decay Primer potion for $20.  Yes i've treated myself because this isn't clearance.  I hope one day they put it on clearance because i'll buy all of them.  I've been look at this product for the longest and I said let me treat myself.  Yes a sales- can go off the budget sometimes but we hang on to sales like two peas and a pod.  Never underestimate a sales-aholic!!! You can get this product at your local Sephora, ulta or online store.

Another store I visited is called "Rue 21'.  Don't underestimate that store because they have some cute stuff if you take the time to look through all them clothes.  The Christmas after sale was 60% of almost the whole store. I got me 3 skirts for $5 a piece and it's like buying one skirt in the winter for $15.  I'm so happy because I got all three beautiful skirts for around $15.  Go take a look at your local Rue 21.

The last store I went to was Wet Seal.  There After Christmas sales was also 50% or 60% on certain items.  I bought a few head bands for my natural hair.  They were each $3.25.  They had beautiful jewelry and shirts on sale.  I may go back and shop until I drop. Go check on Wet seal!!

This is it your guys! My little shop until your drop haul.  This may not be the last end of the year haul because I got some more stores to look at.  Hope you enjoyed my haul post. More to come!!! (:

First Time doing Box Braids

Box braids in an African shop cost around two-hundred dollars just to do either box braids, senagalese twist, kinky twist and much more. I figured why not learn how to do my own Box braids.  They want be perfect but if you put the time and love into it then they will come out like you want it to look ... Professional.   So One day I went to my local beauty supply store and bough 15 packs of hair.  I didn't need all of that hair because I did an certain technique the Africans use to save hair.  I used around 10 packets of hair all together.  It also took me 10 hours just to do it but it's worth the money.  So guys how do they look? I thought I did an awesome job for being the first time I ever braided my own head.  So Ladies if you want to learn how to Box Braids I used youtube and watching the Africans to learn how to do box braids.  Its the Truth! I wish you luck with your box braid journey.
